Gospel trip in Montreal, winter 2012

Oct 21,2011

Dear Saints,

In fellowship with Bibles for Canada (BFC), the Church in Montreal would like to announce a gospel trip in Montreal during the upcoming winter FTTA break. We would like to invite you to join us for a time of distribution of the English and French New Testament Recovery Version in Montreal and blending with the saints.  This trip will also include a weekend trip to Quebec City and/orOttawa to blend with saints, visit contacts and sightseeing.  The planned gospel sowing trip will be from Jan 9 to 23, 2012. Those who can manage conversational French are greatly needed; however it is not a prerequisite.

The focus of this trip will be distributing Bibles on the University campuses in Montreal, following up with previous BFC contacts, and blending with the saints.  Dear saints, this is a great opportunity for you to blend with the saints in Quebec and to also distribute the NT Recovery version in French and English for the furtherance of the gospel.

Tentative Schedule for the proposed trip:

Monday Jan. 9: Preferred arrival time in Montreal

Tuesday to Thursday Jan. 10 to 12:  Preparation of the material for distribution; Bible distributions on campus; BFC seminar on campus; data entry

*During this time there will also be the opportunity to join the prayer, college, small group and YP meetings.

Please send your registration information ASAP, as per the attached form, to BfCgospeltrip@churchinmontreal.org for us to make the arrangements. It is crucial to have your indication of when you will arrive and when you will leave before December 1, 2011. The cost will be $300 per person, (includes transportation, meals during your two week stay, and one or two nights in a hotel if visiting Quebec City or Ottawa). You should also have at least $150 to cover meals not included and other personal expenses during your stay.  If you need any other information regarding coordination or any other matter, you can also contact Dennis Loewen dennisploewen@gmail.com or 514-992-2971(cell). Please remember to pray for this time of distribution.
